Tori Allen: Nashville Songwriter/Multi Instrumentalist

Tori Allen is paving a new way in the Nashville music scene. Hailing from the live music capitol of the world, Austin, TX, Tori found her voice in a genre blend of neo-soul and pop/funk intertwined with her true storytelling roots from a background of country and folk music.

Tori started her musical career as an accomplished classical violinist. By the 8th grade, she began to write her own songs which she would perform as a singer/songwriter to sold out clubs all over central Texas throughout her youth. At age 18, Allen played for The Round Rock Symphony Orchestra as
a soloist and concert master at New York’s’ prestigious Carnegie Hall. Tori later received a full scholarship to The University of Texas at San Antonio where she studied Music Education for 1 year.

Tori’s fiery and lustful songwriting would take her musical journey all the way to Nashville, Tennessee. Here she would relentlessly refine her craft. Performing live shows and studio sessions in several projects for thousands of hours led Tori to the musician she is today. She became a musical sponge learning the artful craft of songwriting, musicianship and singing while being mentored by those around her. She has an electric, creative soul who’s spirit is driven by the love of writing, producing, and playing music.

In addition to being a successful recording artist, Allen also displays her talents in other ways. Since 2019, Tori has been a part of the CMT Awards House Band supporting some of country musics newest and biggest talents such as Morgan Wallen, Hardy, Ingrid Andress, Mitchell Tenpenny, Jimmie Allen and more. You can see her singing background harmonies, playing fiddle, mandolin, acoustic and electric guitars. Over her 10 years in the Nashville scene, Tori has shared the stage with legends and industry greats such as Stevie Wonder, Steven Tyler, Keith Urban, Randy Houser, Kid Rock and many more.

Great support has been show to Allen from Europe where she tours Switzerland, Ireland and Norway multiple times a year. Some pivotal moments for Allen were headlining the famous 10 day festival ‘Badenfhart’ that had over 1 million people in attendance in Baden, Switzerland, as well as the Winzerfest Wine and Cultural Festival in the wine country of Dottingen, Switzerland. In 2019, Allen performed along side some of Irelands hottest talent at the world famous annual Fleadh Cheoil in Drogheda, Ireland with over 500,000 fans visiting from around the globe.

Tori partnered with Blehm Amplification in 2020 after falling in love with the tones and quality of sound this line of amps provided. “As a multi instrumentalist the sound of my instruments when it is amplified can make or break me in an audition and even a live setting. I first was exposed to the B35 in 2019 by guitar and session player, Matt Dyar. Matt had been jamming a B35 at a local club in Nashville. I sat in with the band and played for a bit on the amp. It was the tone that got me hooked. I was instantly drawn to the depth of sound the Blehm B35 was achieving. My favorite part about these amps is the opportunity and versatility of sound on such a basic user friendly chassis. I can get a classic, rich and deep tube sound out of my electric, then can switch to my mandolin with hardly changing my settings and get a full bodied sound that is so sweet to the ear and never too harsh but cuts thru with achieving my optimal tone and EQ. It is so important to my longevity as an artist and creator to have a dependable and reliable tool to deliver my best performance. In my world I typically like to use classic bluegrass instruments in new and inventive ways. Playing my B35 allows to me to explore new sounds and create unexpected ways of delivering the instruments I know and love.”
